Physical flexibility is not a requirement for yoga, only moving with awareness and welcoming whatever is felt in each pose.

Personal Practice

Yoga really begins when you are the one counting the breath and initiating each movement in harmony with the body.

All Yoga comes from the same source. I am not dogmatic about any particular form of Yoga. I believe what is right for you is unique, and ever evolving.

Become more engaged with Yoga by learning deeper subtleties in breath, gaze (drishti), bandhas, and how to feel into the poses with the right energy.

Methodology

We will build yoga sequences that support your personal goals whether it be better flexibility, pain relief, strength, better sleep, etc.

We will study each pose in detail to make sure you fully understand it.

I'll support you in integrating your practice into your life in a realistic way, that you can commit to, and feels right for your schedule and goals.

Śavāsana & Meditation

Śavāsana is one of the most difficult poses to master, because it involves the whole nervous system, and the mind. 

We can discuss incorporating meditation and a more rigorous śavāsana into your practice.

Yoga Credentials

I started practicing yoga in 2010 at Yoga To The People, in San Francisco.  In 2017 I started practicing daily with Iyengar's Light on Light. In 2018 I completed a 200h teacher training at Yandara, in Mexico.  In 2019 I started practicing with David Milliotis who had studied directly with Pathabi Jois, the founder of Ashtanga Yoga.
